MONDAY MUSINGS

Well, OBAMACARE appears to be mortally wounded. CNN poll shows 61% against, the administration’s own Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services says the plan would raise costs, reduce Medicare services and lead to higher insurance premiums and the President has to call   Democratic Senators to the White House for a private pep talk.  Even Kos says kill it. Only days left before they come home for the holidays, if it doesn’t pass before the end of the year, it will die. Keep up the pressure.

Interesting report issued by the West Point-based Combatting Terrorism Center, finding that 85% os the casualties in Al Qaeda attacks between 2004 and 2008 are , ready for this, Muslim. Since 2007, 98% have been Muslim. Way to go AQ.  Unfortunately, the Muslim world doesn’t seem to care.

We know this to be true but does Obama accept reality? Up is down, white is black and 61% against is 61% in favor to Obama. He’ll keep telling himself whatever he needs to believe, and then he’ll announce his lies in some press conference in an attempt to make everyone believe him.

Reminds me of a poll I heard of yesterday, relating the support (or lack there of) for O’Bama, and how one group in particular stuck out with 90+% approval for O’Bama.

No matter what O’Bama does to take away THEIR freedoms, they just don’t care.

Then there is another voting block of really great people, who vote Democrat in huge numbers, no matter how much the Democrat Party favors and supports Palestinians.

    They just don’t care.

One last group of Americans, goes to work every day, pays their taxes, holds family picnics, plays sports, keeps up their homes and sends their kids to school every day, but they never vote, never read the newspaper, never get involved.

    They just don’t care.

What makes us so special that we CARE about the truth? That when confronted with the truth…we care?

I’m not sure what it is, but I’ll always CARE, and more than that. I’ll DO!

I wonder still if our own senators Murry and Cantwell have gotten the hint to vote against obamacare? Because I am pretty sure that thay would love nothing more then to pass this rotten tomato of a bill.

    Hi, Kirby!
What is confusing is why are they proposing to make Medicare even bigger by allowing 55+ now when it’s already going bankrupt?

Why did Senator Maria Cantwell brag all about how great this state’s Basic Health program is when it’s also going bankrupt and closing down!

Why won’t they put in the proposal to allow Americans to buy their health care across state lines? You can do that with cell phone plans, life insurance, car insurance, but not health? Makes no sense. Imagine if we only had 2 cell phone plans to choose from and only in this state. Same with car insurance. Only 2 car insurance plans to choose from. Same with life insurance. That kills competition and competition is what brings the cost down so the company with the best offers gets the customers. But they won’t even consider opening up health insurance so we can buy anywhere in the country. And explain the logic behind this when there are over 1,000 health insurance plans out there that we could choose from if they opened it up so we could buy across state lines.

Explain how this health care reform will be free. How is it free for anyone, truly? WHO is going to pay for the doctors, nurses, medical equipment? Who? Why don’t we just ask doctors to work for free then.

And last, but not least, is when did Congress get the right to reform health care? Where does it say that in our Constitution?

  5. Steve says:

If my insurance premiums continue to rise over the next 6 years as they did for this year, I am afraid that the average family is not going to be able to afford health insurance. This development is not going to be helpful to the party that is seen as obstructing insurance reform.
