GREAT NEWS CONTINUES today. Air America has filed for bankruptcy.
A GREAT QUOTE from Justice Kennedy’s majority opinion in today’s Supreme Court case involving Citizens United: ” The First Amendment confirms the freedom to think for ourselves.” You can tell how importat this case was by who is howling and screaming. Chuckie Shumer wants to hold Congressional hearings, that’s right, Congressional hearings about it. And the President promised a ” forceful response” to it. Too bad he doesn’t deal with America’s true enemies forcefully.
DID YOU HEAR OBAMA’S other quote, about health care? “Once this bill passes, the American people will suddenly learn that this bill does things they like.” What arrogance, what self-delusion. The President has not lost touch with the American people, he was never in touch with them.
HOW ARE YOUR DEMOCRATIC friends reacting to the John Edwards story? This slimebag finally admits what we all knew all along, then goes to Haiti to hide behind dead people. Let us remember that the Democrat party nominated him for Vice-President and he was one of their three top contenders in 2008. The Republicans have had their share of slimy people, but none like this guy.
THE NUMBERS ARE IN for election night viewership. Hannity/Fox, 6.8 million; Olberman/MSNBC 1.27 million; Chris Matthews/Hardball, 798,000. The USS Left has sprung holes in a lot of places, and is sinking, glug, glug, glug……
GEORGE WILL TODAY IN HIS COLUMN: ” Today, conservatism is rising on the steppingstones of liberal excesses.”.
Insightful comments, Kirby. Wonderful forum.
Thanks for the daily “good news”. Not that the news is always “good”, but the news is spin free and THAT is good.
hahhhaaaaa- Air America? I thought they were already off the air. Wow! The ratings say it all, don’t they? Now with this huge ruling by the Supreme Court, the same court Chuck-U-Schumer said only a few months ago we are not to challenge, the left can’t even use lame “fairness doctrine” to fight the Fox News/conservative voice movement. Our voice is being heard. The majority agrees with the conservative viewpoint. Take heart, or how does Sean Hannity say it? “Let not your heart be troubled!” Keep up the fight everyone. It’s worth it.
What about O’Reilly? What were his figures?
Hi Kirby,
Have you seen this latest episode of Seattle moonbattery? Another segment of the crazy, dangerous hatred of Jews and Israel dares to show itself.
“An American resident of Seattle, Washington uploaded a video to YouTube on Tuesday accusing soldiers in the IDF delegation to the earthquake site in Haiti of being involved in stealing organs from their patients.”

It makes me ill to know that there are people who will believe this.

I’m not as excited as you about the fall of Air America. I kind of like having opposing views from both sides of the issue. I may not agree with the commentary from the left, but it helps me hone my arguements for our side. And, I see that KVI is bringing Bryan Suits to your old slot. Ok if I listen?
On the radio this week I’ve heard a couple of interesting points of view from a union guy and a pro-union pundit. The union guy said he thought it was “fair” that if two people had the same health care benefits and one was a union member, then the union member should not pay taxes on it, but the other person should.
The other comment was about the Supreme Court decision, with the pro-union pundit saying that unions should be allowed to spend whatever they want on politics from their union dues, but that corporations should not be able to spend any money on political ads.
Both comments put me in mind of the Soviet Union, in which members of the Communist Party got more money, access to better cars, apartments, clothes, food, . . . and even non-Party people who had somehow saved up money couldn’t buy these things because they were for Party members only.
Do union members really want that kind of two-tiered system here?
“Big shoes” stomping his feet is a sure sign USS freedom and truth is on course. Thanks for keeping the uplifting spirit of these days alive tonight! I’m in touch with the simple dna of happiness and joy again – having lived in shared housing in Seattle, hitting my talk radio button off most of year to avoid snickerers. I saw you at the Evergreen women’s foundation last Nov. Great they let guys in and you were primo form very informative. I needed the laughs to keep rolling tonight, vis a vis Amy Goodman et. al., USS Denial, and for throwing in classic George Will, who was awesome, by the way, last Sunday on abc’s “roundtable” with Steph-a-not-a-plus’ pretty cool replacement dude.
