HEALTH CARE ALERT!
THE WORD FROM DC is that the House will vote on the exact same bill the Senate passed on Christmas Eve. It has been given a House bill number – HR 3590 – but it is the SAME bill, including the Cornhusker Kickback, the Louisiana Purchase, etc. There will be no reason for the leadership to go back and fix the bill once it passes, so their promises are empty and meaningless. Any future changes are hypothetical. You must contact your House member and say vote no. This is especially vital in the 3rd and 2nd Districts, Congressmen Brian Baird and Rick Larsen.
THIS BILL, HR 3590, spends too much ( $2.5 trillion the first ten years ), raises taxes on Cadillac plans, insurance and drug companies ( so much for lower costs ), has an individual mandate, taxes employers of 50 fulltime workers or more if insurance is not offerred, expands Medicaid, costing the states more, still allows insurance companies to invoke yearly limits, cuts $120 billion for Medicare Advantagre, limiting choices for seniors, creates a huge Federal bureaucracy and does not mention tort reform.
Time to call, email, fax, stand up for liberty and true health care reform. NO ON HR 3590.

This bill is terrible!! Taxes employers of 50 or full-time workers? That is totally WRONG. It would be better for people to “self-insure”–meaning pay your own doctor bills (they give you a 40%-50% discount for cash), and just buy major medical insurance—-this would drive costs down across the board.
Also I heard on the news last night that they left the “Government pays for abortions” clause in. We all know that is just the BEGINNING.
In the years to come, when women get the idea they can use abortion as “birth control”, and that the government is going to pay for it, a few million $$ now will mushroom into 10 or 20 billion $$—especially after abortionists get the idea they have a “blank check” from government run insurance!!
Those who object to government-funded abortions will stop filing their income taxes because they don’t want their money to go to pay to kill babies.

And along with Congress exempting themselves from the restrictive rules and fines and fees of this bill, plus sweetheart, or as I like to call them, “We kiss up to Congress” exemptions (some permanent, some just for several years) I heard last night on the radio that a religious group, Christian Scientists is exempted from having to participate in insurance mandated by this health care reform, and same goes for the Amish. So what about the rest of us? OH – that’s right – he can’t let so many captured taxpayers go that his Pinky-and-the-Brain wish to control the earth that hs plan won’t succeed. He needs taxpayers. Lots and lots of taxpayers. And he will place leeches on our wallets, on our paychecks, on our savings accounts, and all that we own. (The Beatles song “Tax Man” plays in the background…) This is terrible, but so many are like lobsters in a pot of warming water, ignoring that the goal here with radical leftists like Obama, and since Woodrow Wilson in the late 1800s, is to take complete control of peoples’ lives, OUR lives, by removing our freedoms and our property. Money is property.
Capitalism works, but is disdained by the left. Capitalism got us to where we are as the greatest nation on the planet, but for tyrants, it is bad for there to be free people. How dare we be free of crushing regulations and government controls! How else will a ruling class survive, if not by enslaving the masses? We must stay opposed to this, and educate others. We must properly educate children to understand freedom and liberty and the Constitution, instead of allowing them to be brainwashed by leftists and historical revisionists. I see now what Obama wants for his personal militia. he wants them so he can crush any rebellions against a complete takeover. Am I paranoid? Well, not too much, but maybe just a little. Love that second amendment, though. Bought a short sleeve shirt because of that, exercising my right to bare arms. (wink!)
